Supplies needed for this art activity

- Streamers
- Paper, scissors, and markers (optional)
How to create these wands
First, twist some pipecleaners together
Begin by taking three to five pipe cleaners and twist them together all the way from one end to the other. This will make it sturdy and strong to stand up straight.
Then, twist in the streamers!
Now its time to add the streamers. On one end of the pipe cleaners make a candy cane shape and place several streamers at the end. Fold over the pipe cleaners and twist the end so the streamers stay in place. To add another element to this project you can create a star or symbol for the tip of the wand and tape or glue it on.
Our experience with this activity:
We loved this activity! It was the last day of summer camp before the Forth of July so we created sparklers and the kids had a blast dancing with these to music before they went home to celebrate the forth of July. It made cleanup so easy and quick and watching them dance was so adorable!
