The retired Hollywood-based actor, now 85, purchased the Sophia Street townhouse in 1986 for just $60,000 with his then-wife Christina, whom he later bought out in 2013.
The three-level, four-bedroom Torrens-title townhouse, featuring a single carport and gardens, was sold through O’Gorman & Partners. This marks the end of Mr Lazenby’s Australian property ties, as he now resides in Los Angeles.
Mr Lazenby, who played the iconic British spy in On Her Majesty’s Secret Service (1969), had a brief but memorable tenure as James Bond.
Born in Goulburn, Mr Lazenby worked as a mechanic and model before taking on the role, following Sean Connery and preceding Roger Moore.
Realestate.com.au reported Mr Lazenby previously owned a Middle Harbour property in Cammeray, which he purchased in 1979 for $215,000 from actor Lorrae Desmond and sold in 1985 for $681,000.
He also co-owned a Mosman property with his former wife, tennis star Pam Shriver.

The sale of the Crows Nest townhouse marks the end of an era for the iconic Aussie actor, whose connection to Bond remains a unique chapter in our cinematic history.
