Yo-yo’s are such cool toys, but I wanted to see if we can make one from paper plates! I went through my crafting bin and found some simple supplies that will be helpful!

supplies for making yo-yo paper plate craft
- Two mini paper plates
- Red paint
- Toilet paper tube
- Long string of yarn
- Glue
- Scissors
- Paintbrush
instructions needed for yo-yo paper plate craft

First, cut the toilet paper tube in half.

Next, paint the back of both paper plates red.

Then wrap some of the string around the middle of the cut tube, and tie it. Make sure that you wrap up some more afterword without tying it!

Glue on the paper plates on the edge of the toilet paper tube, make sure the white parts of the paper plate are on the inside.
