F1 75 live updates: 2025 Formula 1 season launch event latest as teams reveal new car liveries

Usually, Formula 1 teams sort themselves out in terms of providing a launch event for their new car and livery.

Some will book a warehouse or fittingly slick venue, provide the branded lighting and staging, and find someone recognisable to host proceedings.

Eventually they will lift the veil on a version of their 2025 car that most likely doesn’t include the bits the team is really excited about — primarily to avoid any competitors seeing it (and copying it) until the last possible moment.

Others will just run the car at a track and leave the photography to others.

This year is going to be slightly different however. Formula 1 has laid on a season launch event and invited all teams to do their livery launching together.

Some teams have already been busy. Defending constructors’ champions McLaren showed off the MCL39 at Silverstone, albeit from a safe distance.

Williams then followed on Valentine’s Day by unveiling its FW47, also at Silverstone.

Come tomorrow, it will be Ferrari’s turn to debut its SF-25 at Maranello with the rest of the field following in the days leading to the start of the three-day test on February 26.

That’s for then. Today is for F1 75, the O2 Arena, new liveries and plenty more besides.
