Graham has been appointed to deliver a £100m housing-led project by the River Aire in Leeds.
The Dyecoats scheme on Kirkstall Road involves 434 homes, including 50 per cent classed as affordable, as well as a food hall and new public realm.
Graham managing director Jonathan Hall said: “This appointment celebrates Dyecoats being one of the first new-build developments to receive Building Safety Act gateway two approval.”
The Building Safety Regulator issued the green light on 3 February, days after Construction News reported that just two applications had been approved by 29 January.
The Dyecoats scheme is being developed by Latimer, the developer arm of Clarion Housing Group, with Graham appointed for the first of three phases.
It is located in south-east Leeds, just upriver of the Climate Innovation District, a mixed-use development featuring homes built at an onsite factory by developer Citu.

The full project will see 1,799 homes built on the 13-acre brownfield site, as well as a new bridge south over the River Aire.
The supply chain for the first phase of the project includes FK Lowry on piling and Cidon Construction for the concrete frame.
Phase one also involves SCS Group (internal partitions and ceilings), Keith Walton Brickwork (masonry) and NorDan UK (windows, external doors and curtain walling).
According to data-intelligence provider Glenigan, other subcontractors include earthworks specialist Rhodar Industrial Services and mechanical and electrical firm HE Simm.
