The Announcement:
Laing+Simmons has welcomed its newest office to the network with the opening of Laing+Simmons Baulkham Hills, led by husband and wife duo Jason Li and Lisa Van.
The opening marks another milestone in Laing+Simmons’ growth strategy, with at least six additional offices set to launch in the first half of 2025.
Mr Li sees significant potential in the Baulkham Hills market, citing strong buyer and seller confidence in the area.
“Due to its choice of schools and amenities, as well as its excellent connectivity, there’s a lot of confidence in the Baulkham Hills area at present – and this is coming from buyers as well as sellers,” Mr Li said.
“For everything it has to offer families, Baulkham Hills also offers relative affordability and with the potential for interest rates to come down, there will be considerable opportunities for people to make a strategic local move in the months and years ahead.”
The new business aligns perfectly with Laing+Simmons’ customer-focused approach, according to Ms Van.
“Our business philosophy is not to prioritise volume but instead to work one-on-one with our customers through a robust process until their goals are fully realised,” Ms Van said.
“Laing+Simmons is the perfect brand and culture to support us on our path.”
The couple also plans to utilize Laing+Simmons’ in-house recruitment service to facilitate future growth opportunities.
Laing+Simmons Head of People & Growth Jacqui Barnes expressed excitement about the network’s expansion while maintaining its boutique identity.
“This year is shaping up as an exciting phase in our growth strategy as we balance the potential for an accelerated rollout of new offices while maintaining the boutique identity and unique culture which attracts certain operators to Laing+Simmons,” Ms Barnes said.
“We’re finding the more we talk to leading local operators, the more interest there is in a people-first, flexible, support-focused approach.”
The opening follows recent network expansion with new offices in Concord, Kings Langley, Maroubra, Ingleburn, and Point Cook in Melbourne.
