Jason McCourty is joining ESPN as a regular analyst on its studio shows, including “Get Up,” “First Take” and “NFL Live,” sources briefed on the move said.
McCourty, 37, will also be a full-time NFL analyst on CBS, teaming with Andrew Catalon and Tiki Barber and continuing a dramatic, post-playing career rise that was spearheaded largely by his work on NFL Network’s “Good Morning Football.”
ESPN declined to comment.
McCourty, who lives in New Jersey, decided not to go west with GMFB when the NFL moved the program to Los Angeles in a cost-saving measure. Only one regular, Jamie Erdahl went with the show. Peter Schrager and Kyle Brandt remain regulars but appear mostly remote from New York.

McCourty’s twin brother, Devin, has also begun a post-playing media career as a top panelist on NBC’s “Football Night in America” pregame show.
With ESPN, Jason McCourty is expected to appear in studio two days per week. McCourty played 13 years in the NFL, winning one Super Bowl while teammates with his brother in New England in 2018.
