How To Modify This Popsicle Stick Puzzle For Younger Children
Smaller children, like toddlers, may have issues creating an image that makes sense. They make beautiful abstract art, but that will make it harder to put together. Instead draw a picture for them and have them decorate the picture. Or you can paint the popsicle sticks to look like a rainbow and then they can put it in order that way. Or allow them to decorate it and add numbers.
How To Modify This Popsicle Stick Puzzle For Older Children
Give them some of our drawing tutorials and allow them to make more intricate pictures that they have to put together.
Our Experience With These Popsicle Stick Puzzles
As I mentioned above, we’ve done a craft like this before. However, we used photos. And it was super cute. But there is something so great about making your very own puzzle that you decorated.
That alone can make it an easy or difficult puzzle. That made it perfect for my younger children and my older kids. We had abstract colorful puzzles that I numbered and put letters on so the younger kids could put them together.
And my older kids drew pictures like flowers, dogs, trees, etc. We had so many fun puzzles to play with. I hope your kids have as much fun as mine did with this popsicle stick puzzle craft.
