Major western suburbs expansion for powerhouse team

Led by Cameron Crouch, renowned principal of Ray White Sherwood, the new team will bring unmatched expertise, service, and auction excellence to the nine Centenary suburbs.

Mr Crouch and his team have long recognised the natural connection between Sherwood and the Centenary region.

“We’ve been looking at this move for years,” Mr Crouch said.

“Ray White had a very strong presence in the Centenary suburbs in the past; home to one of the very first franchise offices within the group.

Given how much of our marketplace already crosses over into Centenary, this expansion was the natural next step for us.”

With a reputation as the leading real estate group in Brisbane’s western suburbs, Mr Crouch’s team has built a dominant position that made this progression inevitable.

“Our sales in Corinda and Oxley show that 50 per cent of buyers come from the Centenary suburbs,” Mr Crouch said.

“The cross-pollination between these markets is dramatic.

“Now, with a dedicated Ray White team for the Centenary suburbs, we can better serve buyers and sellers in the area.”

Ray White Centenary will operate as part of a single hub alongside the Sherwood office, providing a seamless experience for clients and leveraging shared operational and administrative efficiencies.

“We are so incredibly proud and humbled by what we have already created in the western suburbs of Brisbane,” he said.

“By re-establishing the largest real estate group in Australasia within the Centenary suburbs, we’ll bring a significant lift to the marketplace; access to more buyers, higher demand, and ultimately, stronger property prices.”

The Centenary suburbs, located on the southern side of the Brisbane River to the west of the city, are home to a diverse range of properties.

“Many buyers here are upgrading their family homes, seeking more space or bigger allotments,” Mr Crouch said.

“The area is known for its strong community atmosphere, diverse lifestyle options and excellent schooling.”

From grand prestige homes, to mid-range family properties and entry-level housing, the Centenary market offers something for everyone.

“Centenary is a slightly lower price range compared to Chelmer, Graceville and Sherwood, but the appeal is just as strong,” Mr Crouch said

“The Centenary area was developed in the 1960’s and 1970’s, so there are a lot of sizable homes with great features and larger blocks.”

The team is actively recruiting agents and preparing a powerful marketing campaign.

“We’re hitting the marketplace with a bang,” Mr Crouch said.

“The coming months are all about bringing the right people on board to service this tight-knit community.”

The first 12 months will be focused on growth and innovation.

“We’re on a strong recruitment drive and will be hosting major auction events regularly,” Mr Crouch said.

“Our proven auction strategy has been a game-changer in Sherwood, and we’re bringing that same energy to the Centenary community.”

In addition to sales, Ray White Centenary will offer a high-level property management service.

“We already manage many properties in the Centenary area, but now we can deliver an even greater scale of service.

“Our clients will benefit from our experience, our deep local knowledge, and the backing of Australia’s strongest real estate brand.”

Ray White Queensland CEO Jason Andrew said that he couldn’t imagine a better leader to take on the important Centenary market.

“As the western suburbs’ leading real estate team, Mr Crouch and the entire team are ready to be the best in the market,” Mr Andrew said.

“This expansion is about more than just opening an office; it’s about taking real estate in the centenary region to the next level.”
