Ryan Reynolds and Ryan Serhant headline AREC24


Hollywood celebrity and entrepreneur Ryan Reynolds and high-profile US agent Ryan Serhant will be amongst some of the big names headlining this year’s Australasian Real Estate Conference (AREC) on the Gold Coast.

Now in its 26th year, the event on May 26 and 27, will see 30 speakers come together to help educate and drive careers and businesses forward.

Deadpool star and producer, Ryan Reynolds will talk about his experiences in business and acting while Ryan Serhant will share his thoughts on why personal brands have never been more important. 

AREC Founder, John McGrath, said that having an international star such as Ryan Reynolds speaking is a milestone in AREC’s history. 

“His success as both an actor and entrepreneur are extraordinary and we greatly anticipate his words of wisdom in our conversation with him,” Mr McGrath said.

“The opening keynote, Ryan Serhant, is currently considered the world’s leading residential agent, and he will be in attendance on the AREC stage for the two days sharing his insights.”

Other high-profile names to take to the stage include Mat Steinwede, who will speak on creating the ultimate agent, while Gavin Rubinstein will share his expertise on finding your edge.

Chip Eichelberger, who has served as Tony Robbin’s international point man, will also deliver a keynote designed to get you switched on to breaking down barriers, engaging your audience and creating sticky and interactive experiences.

Other speakers include Australian businessmen and entrepreneur Mark Bouris, peak performance coach Todd Herman, entrepreneur Matt Gray and author Tiffani Bova.

There will also be a host of Australasian real estate industry identities presenting, including The Superstars Panel, with Suzanne Hibbard, Fiona Horne, Marnie Seinor and Robyn Ellson who will be talking about sales success.

Some of the other leading agents who will grace the stage include Sarah Hackett, Trevor Bowen, Megan Muir, Chris Gilmour, Peter Diamantidis, Dib Chidiac and Andrew Liddell.

Property management keynotes and panel speakers will also take to their own designated stage across the two days, including Fiona Blayney, Bec Turner, Shaye Wallis, Daniel Hill, Katherine Gaitanos, Blake Mariner, Cathie Crampton, Brooke Willis, Tilly Gillan and Samantha Macri.

Elite Agent Managing Editor, Samantha McLean will also speak on the practical application of using Generative AI in real estate, including what to do and what not to do, in a practical and hands-on presentation to teach property professionals how to use the technology to create efficiencies in their business, so they can do more for their clients.

Mr McGrath said the event was focused on education and is designed to change the trajectory of real estate careers and business.
